I Want to Believe

In April I sent two pieces off to Eight and Sand Gallery in Seattle, WA for the I Want to Believe show which opened on May 9th, 2015.  You may have seen these pieces already, but I wanted to post them in their frames and share some information about how to buy these original paintings if you're not able to visit the gallery in person.

"Ivywild the Soiled Dove" is the first piece.  She's a small 5x7 mixed media piece in a vintage bubble-glass frame.  Ivywild was inspired by ghost stories from the little "old west" town I grew up in and other old west towns I've lived in or visited since.  It seems like those towns are all haunted primarily by the ghosts of the most beautiful "working girls" in town.

Ivywild is around $100.  Keep reading for details on how to buy.

"Shimmering Dream" is the second piece.  She's an 8"x10" mixed media piece in a custom-made wooden frame with gold accents.  This painting is just a simple fairy holding a bouquet of wildflowers.  The painting also has been accented with metallic gold paint.  Gold leaves adorn her crown of wildflowers and drift in the air around her.  She really shimmers in person, and her frame shimmers, too.

Shimmering is around $225.  Now for the details on buying:
